I am currently living in Thailand and my visa expires shortly. I am planning on visiting Loas to apply for a double entry tourist visa.

Just a couple of questions

What do I need to take with me to Laos to apply for the visa?

Will I need to show flight tickets leaving Thailand?

How long does it take to get the visa in Laos?

Any help greatly appreciated

You will need nothing other than you passport (plus a copy of photo page), 2 photos for the application form and 2000 baht for the visa, You apply the morning of one day and prick your passport the next afternoon.
