Beautician in drink-related East Pattaya road crash



PATTAYA: -- A Beautician and her car ended up on their side and in a ditch next to a road in East Pattaya in the early hours of Tuesday.

Khun Siriporn aged 28 sustained only slight injuries in the road accident which occurred at 3am on Tuesday in Soi Chayapornviti. She was driving to her friend’s house after spending a night out in Pattaya and intended to turn into the Bupar Resort but misjudged the turn and ended up driving into the ditch.

According to Police she was in an intoxicated state and was very apologetic to Police and rescue workers for causing the incident.

How does this make news in Pattaya? Maybe cos it wasn't settled "out of court" perhaps.........

And would she have been apologetic to anyone she happened to maim on the way as she drunkenly weaved around?

Should have been put in a cell until sober.

This is Thailand. Nobody enforces any laws based on 'what if' scenarios. She was a drunk driver that managed not to involve anyone else except probably her insurance company and the cops will be happy with that.

At least she stopped drinking at 3am , she could of been still at it at 5am in some of the bars. HEY maybe 'Happy Hour' in Pattaya is 3am.

she was very apologetic but the fact remains she was drunk while driving therefore a danger on the road I wonder what the police will do about her fine her 500baht no doubt thai logic will prevail.

What relevance does her occupation have to the accident?
