Bob....stop copying Eedgits posts...it's not time for my kid's English lesson yet:)

but while we are on...<deleted> is he on about? Benteke was born in December 1990...so is 24 years of age...I do hope he is not being racist regarding a black guy's facial appearance? Bannable offence I would have thought:giggle: ...."pigs flyimg?????There's one for my lad to puzzle over after school:D

My apologies, it was too good to pass up.

Regarding age, apparently Benteke has committed a federal offence by falsifiing his documents so that chicks think he is really younger than he is.

Also it would seem our friend rij is now a specialist in Sports injury.

Btw Tiny torts we responded to the Benteke rumour with stats and facts a few pages back. You chose to not respond, don't expect us to post again.

And the whole point was Victor Moses, your reaction suggests you know as well as we do he is not an ambitious signing. Stoke's dregs

Why are you wanting to have discussion on Victor Moses at Spurs when there's no chance of us signing him ,seems like your desperate to have a pop at us but your struggling to find anything.

By the way did you not sign him on loan and pay his wages for a year ? we don't need to sign him on loan to know he's not good enough for us !

BB. you can't have a good back and fourth like you do with the mancs.

You can if you reply to posts Bob facepalm.gif 2 questions to answer on the above for a start whistling.gif

but alfie i'm never sure if you are trolling or genuinely requesting an answer...as a believer in humanity...

 • Why, because this is a rumour forum. A rumour was posted about said subject. I responded. Larry, Curly and Mo replied like women scorned, but off topic. Probably because your club is being linked with <deleted> this summer and there has not been much movement. This would piss me off too. We as LFC fans would admit that and openly discuss it. You could give us a raz about it and we would likely agree!
 • Yes we did sign him, he was a bag-o-<deleted>, that was my point.

What are you on about now ? you seem to live in your own dreamworld and your lack of knowledge when it comes to Spurs is incredible, we have signed 4 players and let 4 go so far so how is that not much movement ? who is pissed off ? at the beginning of the season the general consensus was that we needed to sign 3 players, a centre half, a def mid and an attacking mid / forward, one has been got and the other two are on the way.

Hopefully you will answer the questions !

So if i put a rumor up that you were going to sign Mickey mouse and then starting having a pop at you about it then that would be ok and you wouldn't find it pathetic because thats what your doing when you discuss Moses and Spurs.

Anyway what are you on about with the above? you seem to live in your own dreamworld and your lack of knowledge when it comes to Spurs is incredible, we have signed 4 players and let 4 go so far so how is that not much movement ? who is pissed off ? at the beginning of the season the general consensus was that we needed to sign 3 players, a centre half, a def mid and an attacking mid / forward, one has been got and the other two are on the way plus we signed 2 other squad players.

To be fair Bob it seems to me that a lot of the time that you have really got a response to a post but you feel you should respond so you just come on here and waffle, sometimes you look less silly if you say nothing !

Anyway hopefully you will answer the questions !

Some serious ambition at Spurs...

By 2018 we'll have the best and the second biggest stadium in the country. It'll be a very different story when we are pulling in the revenues from 61000. We already have the best academy. What you lot got?

Exactly Bob, so button it! And good luck with Benteke btw. Can't see him being much better than Lambert, Super Mario and Borini to be honest.

Where exactly do you draw the line between ambition and buying square pegs to ram into round holes?

Can I have some of what you are smoking Carms?biggrin.png

League's wouldn't format...but < 21 Tiny Totts finished 9th (out of 12) and <18 they managed 8th....out of 8

Let me help you...

Wils and Bob, iv'e already explained to you once or twice why clubs run academies so by showing the above league tables and commenting on them proves that you don't really understand so i get the feeling that you are both perhaps a bit dense.

Clubs run academies for two reasons :

A. To produce players for the first team.

B. To produce players that they can sell on for a profit.

Clubs don't give a monkeys if academy teams don't produce good results as it is all about individuals not about teams.

Incidently if you want to compare our 2 clubs in recent years on the scenarios of A and B please be my guest.

I replied to the rumour for a laugh, taking the piss..how do you not get that?? You totally miss the point, then you want to draw out a prolonged banal debate that is so far removed from the original post.

To answer the above, it's hilarious you find my lack of knowledge when it comes to Spurs is incredible. Hilarious you think I should have an in-depth knowledge of your football team....I honestly don't give 2 <deleted>.

Spurs only signing thus far of semi significance is Alderweireld, the other 3 from MK Dons, Cologne and Burnley look more like squad fillers to me. Your number 1 striker target was Ings but he'd rather be a second string at LFC than play for Spurs. You'd expect Spurs have ambitions for the top 4, I'd have expected more high profile links and maybe a marque signing by now.

Waffling again, you said "no movement" i gave the number of players we've bought and sold, you come back with "Spurs only signing so far..." where did you mention that it was only players coming into the first team that you meant by "no movement"

I'd have expected more high profile links and maybe a marque signing by now.

Really !!! cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

Any waffling on this one Bob ?

Tottenham will make a £15million bid for West Brom’s rising star Saido Berahino this week, writes Alan Oliver in the Sunday People.

If there's any substance in this, then I think it's a good move - hope it happens.

I guess poor old Moses would lose out sad.png

About frigging time, but dont suppose for a minute 15 mil will buy him 20 mil might.

Not meaning to split hairs here but i believe the figure would be more like 25m. However, he's so suited to us and is tailor made for what we need.....a striker that can play wide and add support to Kane.

A quality defensive mid and Berahino, offload Adebayor, Chiriches, hold onto Lloris and there we would have had an extremely good window. None of it looks totally out of the question either.

Rumors abound that Levy is stalling Stamboulis 7.5m transfer to PSG until we secure our DM target. Lets hope this is intact the case

The Times reports today that the Tottenham head coach has followed up the excellent sales of Paulinho, for silly money, and Etienne Capoue by offloading another peripheral squad player:

Benjamin Stambouli has become the latest player to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer as Daniel Levy, the chairman, continues living up to his reputation as a man who drives a hard bargain.

And this guy went for a profit. After buying him for around £3.5m a year ago they sold him for £6m after the Frenchman made just 12 rather uninspiring appearances for Tottenham.

At 24, he obviously still has potential, having been snapped up by one of the world’s richest clubs.

But he never really got his feet under the table at Tottenham and the defensive midfielder will leave without having made much of an impression on The Premier League.

In other news The Telegraph reports that Tottenham could offlaod yet another player who is treading water at White Hart Lane:

Tottenham consider loaning Emmanuel Adebayor to Aston Villa

Unsettled striker could move to Villa Park on season-long loan, if Villa fund his £100,000-a-week wages

While a permanent deal would obviously be preferable it would make a big difference to the wage bill if they could get rid of Adebayor for the season.

The striker has clearly had family problems over the last few years which hasn’t helped.

But, from a footballing perspective, he isn’t doing the business at Tottenham and has become an expensive albatross around the next of the London club.

With these two gone Mauricio Pochettino will surely be free to go out and buy one or two more top quality players.

Things might be looking good for Spurs wink.png

Sevilla are not alone in their interest in Spanish forward, Roberto Soldado. Italian outlet,SportMediaset, report that Bundesliga side,Borussia Dortmund have approached Tottenhamwith a view to securing the services of the striker. The German club feel that Soldado could be the ideal replacement for Inmobile who has just joined the Andalusian club as a replacement for Carlos Bacca.

I'm happy to confirm Soldado would be the perfect replacement for an immobile striker. biggrin.png
