Does anywhere in central Bangkok sell growing pots of herbs, especially mint and sweet basil? I'm staying in an apartment for a few weeks, and I know I can get little packets of fresh herbs from Gourmet Market in Siam Paragon, but they're expensive for the amount you get, and it's not a very convenient journey if it's the only thing I need from there (I'm in Talad Noi).

Thanks.

You might need to find a grower's market of some sort. Never seen herb pots in any kind of store. Download pix and show to the people in your nearest wet market. There is a grower's market every first weekend of the month (fact check needed) in Soi 22 Suk - I'm told it's excellent.

Edit: Just checked with my daughter - it's in K Village at the end of Sukumvit Soi 26, and it's the last weekend of every month. Hope that helps.
