Suthep to face malfeasance charge over the police station scandal

Recommended Posts

Malfeasance, self-enrichment, corruption, cronyism, nepotism, abuse of power, cartels, price fixing, usury....all synonymous with the decades of 'elite' rule. Now patiently waiting for change in hopeful expectation.

Its all about atonement which he is now doing in his current position. He will be further enriched in his next life.

I feel no one came here and shouted political or made comments to divert the issue is 3 reasons .

One he is the lowest form of life that there is and so now one cares where he rots.

Second No one wants the world to see they support such a man.

Third nothing will happen to him anyways the case will go nowhere it is just smoke and mirrors.

I would say that sums it up.

This for sure needs looking into and it is going to open up a real can of worms.

Chalerm and Tarit tried this on when they were the law and were going to hang Suthep from the rafters.

Then suddenly it was forgotten, they may just have found out that some friends who didn't need investigating were involved as well.

From what I have read it was a committee of top cops set up by a Thaksin proxy Govt that made the decisions and recommendations. This committee included the PT candidate for the BKK Mayor job who denied involvement until someone inconveniently produced proof, he then said he had left the committee before any decisions were finalized.

The Yingluck Govt also extended the contract 3 times.

Will be real interesting to see what comes out of this.

If he gets sentenced for all the crooked deals he made in his career we will never see him in yellow or white again!

Don't hold your breath. If Sondhi Limonkul is an example of how much porridge a convicted yellow shirt actually has to serve then Sutheps down time will be over before you can say ' unfair '.

If he does any jail time soon I'll be gob smacked. This'll be spun out for years, maybe even decades if the case doesn't get thrown out soon.

Same as all the guilty verdicts against Sondhi.........freed on bail pending appeal.

Compare with the incredible haste with which the Princess' in-laws disappeared behind bars.

OK,,,, now it's only six years after the fact, almost 400 un-built cop shop's and WERE'S THE MONEY??????????????

plenty of time to cover the money trail,

But wait there's stuff on this guy from twenty years ago that is STILL UNASNSWERED, (Land deals, palm oil, etc,) there's been a lot of people out there that have said this guy is protected and maybe now it's time for the masquerading monk to pay the piper, Well about bloody time, Wait a sec, my bad he's protected, case closed.

YO,,, coastas, djjamie, Halloween, and the others out there that have this BRO-MANCE with this low life, where are you? normally your out in force proclaiming he's innocence and his almost divinity, the problem is this guy will walk as usual and so the beat goes on.

My challenge to you is do your research and show us just what he is accused of, has he answered for the charges and why has it been so long to get the questions answered?

And not just him, his kids also, the fruit don't fall to far from the tree, or have those charges been lost or quietly let go as per usual.

Doubt there are many defending him. You don't see them defending him. I also don't defend Suthep and hope he gets jailed. But unlike topics where reds are charged nobody is crying political or bombing the country.

Guess yellow supporters are brighter in general.

I must congratulate the junta for going after a real high person on the democrats side.. wonder how the reds can now justify the its political. Seems they are MORE serious now as ever before about corruption. (still far from perfect)

Not really. Sonthi was sentenced for a couple of years for fraught and he is still out on bail.

Nothing will happen to Suthep, Sonthi or the Yellows alike. They can take over an airport which clearly is terrorism and they are free because they assisted the generals.

BTW: Suthep group said two days in the BP that they will support the Democrat Party in the next election but when Yingluck was in power and removed they said it was not the Democrat Party that was behind the protests.

On the next General Election those politicans from the South and Bangkok will be hammered down badly. Even the Community Happines Poll can spin things as they like and if Prayuth runs for government he needs deep pockets from the army slash funds.

I am looking forward for the next elections and will report who pays money to the farmers. The red's don't need to pay as they ahve the backup of many people's so it's the politicians from Bangkok that have to send the canvassers to Isaan.

I say good luck with the charges and if found guilty then an appropriate punishment should be applied. Same thing I would say about Jatuporn and Nattawut who seem to be "protected and case closed".

The respect I have for the Mandela of the East is not because of his shady deals. If I was to look at any person on this planet and realize their "hidden secrets" I would not respect a single soul on this planet no doubt (except for maybe The Right Honorable Abhisit). What I do respect Mandela of the East for is recognizing democracy was not followed under the previous regime and for representing the majorities voice whose majority backing was reinforced through protests the size of which Thailand had never witnessed previously.

I look forward to seeing how these current charges pan out and I have absolutely no doubt it will be delayed, drawn out and then he will be free once all is forgotten just like every other politician in Thailand. (Or will it?) Unlike the conspiracy the red apologists hold dear to their heart that fly against the face of all logic and FACTS the results are the same for red, yellow, blue and pink. If they have political sway they are usually free to act with impunity.

The terrorists that caused 30 dead and 700 injured before May 22, 2014 were the same. Free to act with impunity because of their political sway to the red side. Prayut has recognized this and this is one of the reasons that reform is needed. So Suthep may have inadvertently signed his own prison sentence paperwork.

So don't worry my dear friend, Suthep may well go to jail yet as will Jatuporn and Nattawat thanks to Prayut.

I hope he goes to prison for twenty years just so some posters on this forum will stop saying, "but, but, but Suthep..." I don't think he is well-liked by anyone. Because of that, maybe some justice will be done. I think he was only 'liked' when he had power to share. I'm not going to hold my breath, though. TiT

Any politician in Thailand who can be so thoroughly tainted with corruption over a career of more than thirty years is not going to go to jail over fixing a contract bid. The only guy with a worse reputation than Suthep is Pol. Capt. Chalerm, who was actually kicked out of the Army and so went to the Police. I know Chalerm kept getting reelected because, first, he took care of his constituents and, second, has a skilful crew of thugs under contract. I don't know how Suthep does it, but I'm sure there is a constituency somewhere that he takes care of diligently.

The fundamental difference between a yellow and a red supporter is a yellow supporter will not defend a criminal because of his political persuasion. A red supporter will.

Again, lets hope he is put in jail if found guilty and I look forward to more of this.

I certainly hope Abhisit is held accountable for being too tolerant and caring towards the red shirts in 2010 as well as being so lethargic in his response to the terrorism that swept the capital which emboldened the red terrorists to the point they thought they could act with impunity.

Your third point might be true.. but the same goes for people like jattuporn who should be in jail for terrorism but gets out on bail all the time many of the real rich seem to be protected. I am against this of course people convicted should go to jail.
