May 17, 201511 yr I've been back and forth on this one for weeks and still no closer to solving it. I need health insurance while I'm living in Thailand. I've asked BUPA and they quoted me 2000 baht a month to cover me which I find a little too high. I'd love to hear of any recommendations from expats living here who have heath insurance and which ones they swear by. Edited May 17, 201511 yr by farang1979
May 18, 201511 yr 2000 per month sounds ok depending on which plan. Was that the cheapest? You do know that they offer several different plans.
May 18, 201511 yr Have a look at this thread running in the Chiang Mai forum http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/825888-medical-insurance-for-retirees-in-chiang-maiany-help/
May 18, 201511 yr Quoting a premium without knowing the age and the personal circumstances does not mean anything – also the risk level v’s the benefit level one is prepared to take also comes into the equation. Bottom line, Medical Insurance unlike Vehicle, Property and the like is total different animal as it is so personal.
