BANGKOK: -- The wife of the key suspect in Rohinya human trafficking and wanted for trafficking conspiracy was arrested today in Ranong province.

Tasanee Suwannarat, wife of Patchubun Angchotiphan, the former mayor of Satin provincial administration, was apprehended at her farm residence in Kapor district of Ranong province.

She was later escorted to face human trafficking conspiracy charge in Songkhla province.

Seven other suspects wanted for human trafficking in Ranong are still at large and some of them have fled to Myanmar’s Ko Song island.

Her husband, Patchubun Angchotiphan, alias Ko Toeng, a key suspect in the trafficking of Rohingya migrants turned himself in to the police Monday morning.

He denied all the charges against him and said he would give his testimonies at the court.

Police had seized about 81 million baht worth of assets from 52 suspected human traffickers in Ranong and Satun provinces.

In addition, police are in the processing of seizing another 20 million baht worth of assets of suspected traffickers in Songkhla province.

How come his face not shown you would show if it were a farang or Burmese?

My crystal ball has fresh batteries, and it told me there would be No Navy officer prosecutions, No prosecutions of anyone above the level of a small town official, and there would be No tracing assets to find any of these parties....

100% accurate, guaranteed! It was made in Korea....
