BANGKOK: -- POLICE yesterday sought to indict 20 suspects in relation to the bomb attack at the Criminal Court on March7.

Metropolitan Police Bureau commissioner Pol Lt-General Sriwara Rangsiprammanakul submitted two investigation reports along with 3,000 pages of documents to the Office of the Attorney-General, seeking action from public prosecutors.

The suspects include motorcyclist Mahahin Khunthong, 34; grenade thrower Yuthana Yenpinyo, 34; and Supaporn Mit-arak, 49, the alleged mastermind of the attack.

Supaporn's son, who is still at large, is also wanted on 10 other charges such as terrorism, racketeering, premeditated murder, harming others and their property, attempting to kill officials, resisting arrest, possessing bullets and guns without permission.

Pibul Chatupattanakul, deputy secretary to the Attorney-General, said he would seek the Attorney-General's final decision on whether the accused should be indicted.

He was confident that the decision would be made before the suspects' detention period runs out in 24 days.

Sriwara said the case had two investigation files, because one file came under Phaholyothin Police jurisdiction and the other was under Chok Chai Police jurisdiction.

Four of the 20 suspects are still at large and one is a minor. Those who may have escaped overseas would also be sought - police will ask Attorney-General Trakul Winitnaiyapak to ensure the suspects are extradited.

He voiced confidence that prosecutors would indict the suspects because the case was strong. Prosecutors had joined the investigation and also believed that there were no holes in the case.

Naahh...they have no relations to Thaksin whatsoever...

Are you implying that they do have a connection to Thaksin and that they are being persecuted/framed because of it?

Cos for me, looking at it from the outside, a group of guys did bad and illegal things, and now they are going to be punished for them (if they catch them all) ... simple.

A neutral statement that shows the colour of glasses each respondent wears...

Trogers seems to be taking up trolling of late.

2 posts in and Thaksin gets mentioned, it beggars belief really, and the coppers said the same thing about the samui bombers in that they had a solid case, and arrests would be maxed imminent, same cops said the same thing about Koh Taq too.

Imminent in Thaialnd must mean within weeks or months!!

Go easy on anti-thaksinistas aflicted by OCD. That happens when they skip their meds for one day.

So bad guys set off bombs just because they are bad eh ?.

The people who did it are largely irrelevant : it's who decided to do it and paid them that matters.

And who might have a motive for that ?. If it was the Junta themselves, it seems very messy to have so many suspects to put false blame on.

Take your time ...

Why did the students a few weeks back throw ping pong bombs ?

Was it because they were just little <deleted>, and being bad, or was there a political motivation behind it and a "mysterious man called Dr Evil" paid them to do it?

you make an assumption there is a paymaster involved, because there simply has to be right? I mean everyone knows that TS is behind the whole thing right?

who might have a motive?

all warfare is based on deception.

Take your time ;)

Ahhh...ping pong balls along a road side compared to grenades into the grounds of the Criminal Court.

Hmmm...probably similar frivolous motives...sure sure...

and pray tell me why would they put a "shot across the bows" when they've been trying to torpedo the battleship for years?

you want to make a serious political statement of your intent to do harm, you chose a high profile target, and you kill it..simple as that.

You intimated on the 2nd post on this very thread Thaksin was behind this, of course, you have 110% proof about this right?

Thaksin doesn't need to put a shot across anyone's bows,, he has the means at his disposal to go straight for the Battleship allegedly, between the UDD and the MIB's and Third hands.. right ?

the UDD are about as switched on as Fred Carno's Army. They are like thrush... just irritating c***s

It's ridiculous. These people are a bunch of amateurish losers communicating by line when everyone knows you can communicate discreetly using Tor, getting caught nearly on the act and paid, how much? 20 000 bath! And the modern Machiavel Mr T., who is supposedly able to buy the editorial policy of the best media or press agencies in the world would have cut costs by hiring these losers instead of skilled professionals! cheesy.gif

Was my post #2 saying that?

Or is some part of your thinking leading you to such a conclusion due to it's leaning?

Tourist to Somchai : In spoken Thai do you have a word like manana ?

Somchai : Yes we do but it doesn't have quite that sense of urgency.

No, you were implying that Thaksin was behind this, otherwise there was no need to have mentioned his name at all.

Can I declare my thoughts that Mr. T has no relations to this event?

You're fooling nobody with this apart from yourself. wink.png

It's how you put it across, if it really is your opinion that he had nothing to do with it, why not simply say, " It's my opinion that TS wasn't behind this incident"

You're not very good at sarcasm if that's what you were intending, I shall give you the benefit of the doubt, bearing in mind, you likened red shirt supporters to that of ISIS and then started diverting when I gave you examples of the differences, and a good thing the mods removed the comments really.

Ahhh...my knowledge in English is apparently too simple for such a hard phrase...
