Hi, can you please give advice to the following questions?

If husband working with non-imm "F" (official) visa, and wife has non-imm "O" visa because of husband and both have1 year permit to stay and re-entry permits:

1) Can spouse get work permit if working for Thai Company?

2) Can spouse get work permit if working for themselves?

3) Can spouse work online for foreign company (digital nomad) without a work permit?

Thanks for your time!

1. Normally not. It depends upon the work permit office where the application is done.

2. In order to get a work permit a person must be working for a registered company.

3. According to the law no. In reality yes if they keep a low profile.

If the wife is a dependent they will normally want the wife to leave the country to obtain a non-B visa herself. Once she has the non-B it is no problem for her to get the work permit (working for a Thai company)
