Subaru Wrx

Featured Replies

Anyone know what the price in baht of a new Subaru WRX (standard or STI) is in Thailand ?

All Subarus are made in Japan and imported so you get hit with the huge tax on CBU cars.

Subaru WRX prices:

WRX - 2,199,000 baht

WRX MI Class - 2,299,000 baht

WRX STI - 3,390,000

The Singapore website is more comprehensive than the Thai one and there's a link to it from the Thai site.

The problem is it's a performance car and needs 95 Octane petrol. Subaru mechanics say it won't run on 91 or 95 gasohol so, if premium 95 is phased out at the end of this year, you're left with an expensive ornament. Talk this over with the Subaru mechanics, not salesmen.

I've had an Impreza Turbo for 11 years and don't want anything else but it looks as though this government is going to retire it for me. I'm still working with Subaru here and in Japan to try to find a solution but no luck so far.

Great car and totally reliable. I love it. Killing it off in Thailand is a real shame.
