Our postman also put an envelope (addressed to another person: different name, different address) in our mailbox.

As I didn't know the Thai Post procedure I brought it to our post office responsible for our moo baan.

They told me that this happened for the first time.

Correct procedure according to them is:

a ) return it to your local post office or

b ) give it to your local postman when he delivers the mail the other day

P.S. Did you take into consideration that the said person or his friends and relatives do not read thaivisa?

Thanks for the informative post.

Im going to hold it a couple days then my condo manager has assured me she knows the correct procedure. I will run that by her, to make sure its on the up and up.

I just wanted to try this first as i know how much it sucks to miss important mail.

PS - I thought EVERYone read thaivisa, no?
