Can't play audio clip on Lenovo Yoga Tablet with Android

Featured Replies

I had a problem previously playing some audio clips on my Lenovo tablet, and someone on this forum helped me solve it by downloading an app called "VLC"

Now I have another clip that just sits there when I press the play button. It plays OK on my laptop computer with Windows.

Here is the link for the sound clip if that helps.

Thanks for any help.

P.S. Does anyone know of a resource manual like maybe "Android for Dummies" or Idiot's guide for Android. I am constantly running into deadend problems with this device, but I continue to use it because it is so handy.

HOLD ON.

Just out of curiosity, I pressed the play button on the audio clip, then just left the tablet sit there. After around twenty or thirty minutes I had forgotten about it, and suddenly it started playing. It apparently buffers the entire recording before beginning to play, and it must be extremely slow. And this is with a high speed connection.

So now my question would be, Is it possible that there is a much faster player app available? And, being unfamiliar with how things work on this tablet, I am not even sure what player it uses, because with this clip, it doesn't ask which player I want to use.

Thanks again for any help/

The link you provided is displaying as 404 - Page Not Found, possibly because I am not logged in.

Does the audio file play instantly on your Windows OS system?

Assuming it is protected by login, once you are there does the link look like it might be something you can download?
