Ring road closed. Traffic being diverted round back roads

Not where I live (next door to the Chinese temple), all traffic moving normally both ways.

Must have cleared but the Samui Rescue were diverting everything in both directions about an hour ago when I went through. Took me a good 20 minutes to get through down roads I did not know existed and did not show on my GPS! Came out by the timber merchants just north of Hua Thanon.

The cause was a fallen tree accross the road, according to internet reports seen late yesterday afternoon & confirmed by lamai residents last night.
