espinoza
Will he at the same time give answers about the land deals? Will he stand responsible for all the dead people, he caused? Will he give any answers for the treason he did? Will this figure ever go to jail for all the misery he caused? Probably no, because he pawed the way for the junta. The Thai law does not apply to everybody.

heybruce
Great news. The Mandela of the East will be back. History will judge this man very favourably as being the stepping stone to a democracy that extends past the first principle called elections. God Speed good man. Good speed. Using violence and intimidation to disrupt an election and demanding an elected government step down for unspecified reforms to be made by unnamed people--is that your idea of a stepping stone to democracy? Mandela spent decades in prison. If only that were true of Suthep. yes demanding a murdering government step down ..im fine with that ..or were you fine with chalems terrorists killing protesters .. Do you have evidence of government involvement in the deaths, or are you just hoping that if you repeat a lie often enough it will be mistaken for the truth? Suthep and his minions used violence and intimidation to disrupt government and an election, and provoked a violent backlash. I assume that was his plan. There is no evidence that the government did anything other than attempt to contain the violence. Pathetic people in denial of their fondness for autocratic government are inventing fantasies to convince themselves they are on the right side. ikke
Will he be able to walk around without his "ring" of safety? Depends on if 7% of the violently radicalised population that support terrorism behave themselves. For the sake of Suthep and the peaceful majority, lets hope so... For the peaceful majority , I agree, Suthep however is a violent evil who contributed to the radicalisation of that 7% !

The most naive statement ever made on TV. Congratulations!! He is still a Petunia petal picker. They love me, they love me not. Short of a lobotomy the General should send him for a short course in one of the education centers and read article 44 to him over and over again like a lullaby. Then release him with a statue of the 3 monkeys hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil.
coulson
Was it not about 2 weeks ago or less he said he had no plans to return to politics? Thaksins facebook speel about impermanence was good, although this retiring to monkhood story is almost up there. Poor Buddha seems to be the last line of defence, a desperate gambit to scrape the last bit of support, only to see kicking heels and back to work when the opposition gets a red card (no pun intended)

Pathetic people in denial of their fondness for autocratic government are inventing fantasies to convince themselves they are on the right side. the violence from elements of the PDRC, from elements of the UDD, and especially from the military is all abhorrent. But there is a story-line on this forum that the PDRC were completely peaceful (false) and that the Yingluck government ordered/paid/allowed for them to be killed by red shirt mercenaries. It's repeated without any backup evidence... ever... The claim of "peaceful" PDRC protests is repeated in spite of the evidence... go figure... jaidam
Won't it be ironic if he meets the same fate as those red shirts he ordered to be picked off from afar by sharpshooters.Evidence? That's what Jatuporn tells them. That makes it crystal clear evidence for those gullible followers. No, somehow just somehow that's the conclusion they come to when their unarmed brother is lying on the footpath with blood spurting from the sniper's bullet wound in his head. From the video footage I have seen, and there was a lot of it, it appears most likely that the heavily armed Ronin warriors na Dubai were responsible for shooting most of the red simpletons in the back during their many sustained barrages of fire at the military positions. The heady mix of Thaksins propaganda, methamphetamine and lao khao had most of the reds bounding around like maniacs - running into their comrades bullets I think was the term one respected observer summed up the situation as. That he was unarmed was because his fellow terrorists had snatched his weapons and left him to die on the street alone and foolish, the reality setting in hard and fast in his final moments. I agree with criminal, probably anarchist is better than terrorist and murderer, ummmm no actual evidence that he gave the order to shoot to kill! He does need to stay away from politics as does Thaksin. Both have said in the past that they will NOT be involved in politics again, I just wish they would honour their own words! Huh? Are you aware of the man's history? If anyone has an entourage of lackeys, bully boys, thugs, thieves, money grabbers and hangers on, I expect that it is Suthep, the "Don" of the south. But...He had the guts to stand up to the criminal, animal family of the Shinawatra tribe and its lackeys, bully boys, thugs, thieves, money grabbers and hangers on.I don't like Suthep AT ALL. He is the kind of politician Thailand is better of without. Do you dare to say that about Thaksin?? but I applaud him for winning over Thaksin's propaganda machine and violent thugs. Eric Loh
Activism just a short detour back to the Dem fold come election. All so predictable and planned. To Ahbisit, Suthep is big financier and a safe deposit in his province for votes. To the establishment, he's just a handy man like Sonthi and his association allows him to escape prosecution for his corruptions and crimes. Suthep is a very wise and revered monk, you can clearly see that from the style of eyeglasses he changed to, or is that Gandhi's reincarnation we see here pictured. We already had a Thai Mandela, who is now a fugitive from Thai law, and a Thai Aung San Suu Kyi who led the previous government, so finally a Thai Gandhi as well.
