Kenny202
Anyone point me in the right direction? After models you assemble yourself, wooden ships / boats, plastic airfix type models etc. Any help appreciate

Suradit69
There used to be a shop on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the old Central on Silom. Not sure if he's returned now that they have a new building. Might check out Chatuchuk weekend market.

xen
I did a search a few weeks ago for plastic self assembly kits (Airfix style) for my step son's birthday and i could't find much at all except pre-assembled models of planes and cars etc, I did find a range of japanese cartoon/fantasy style modls to assemble in Toys 'n us in Rama 4 but very expensive for what they were and i was looking for the same type of models i used to assemble when i was a kid so to impart some mechanical/engineering/creativity that seems to often absence in todays kids. The best part is the assembly and the painting and if pre-assembled then what is the point. Lego and meccanoo are still available there too but may not be what you want. If i had been better organised i should have bought off-shore and bought them in for him.
