Bus to Don mueang airport from pattaya

Hi people

I've got a early morning flight to krabi in a couple of weeks

I got a cheap flight with air asia and don't fill like spending more on a cab to the airport then the flight cost

Dose any one know if there is a bus what's goes from pattaya to Don mueang airport

How early?

You are aware that under good conditions a bus (buses) from Pattaya to DMK will need 3 hours.

Adding reasonable buffer time you need to leave with a bus 4 hours before departure.

Earliest bus I am aware of leaves at 6h from Pattaya.

Please specify the exact time of departure to get reasonable advice.

Bell bus is nice, but: Bell has two buses to DMK at 6:30h and 13:00h.

Duration:

• Total estimate travel time is 3-4 hours (depending on traffic).

An option is to take the 13:00 Bell service, mentioned above, to DM and stay overnight.

Here is a cheap hotel, with breakfast, close to the airport, that I use:

You'd probably pay about the same as a taxi from Pattaya and won't have to get up at 4am....

9h is very tough/tight.

I am not aware whether there is a minibus (van) service available?

(likely up to some place in Bangkok, but what a hassle)

Otherwise no way around taxi (about 1500).
