World Passport

Featured Replies

Hello Everybody

I have a old friend coming to visit me in Thailand and he has asked me if Thailand accept the World Passport, I have never heard of the World Passport so I googled it and seems real and works, I was hoping that someone has tried to use it at Thailand immigration and if not worked.

Your feedback would be good

Thanks

Andy

I don't believe it will be accepted here. There is almost no country that will accept them.

See wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Passport

As above .

It is not a generally recognised valid passport and claims of acceptance are made by WSA and relate to very few countries.

Thailand is not a country which is said by WSA to accept this "document".

The vast majority of people would have no need of such a document .

I must have a different Google than the OP. My Google says it's just a fake passport. Interesting Wiki article though.

Fake nonsense.

A document from Khaosan rd. is of more worth bah.gif

He will probably not even make it to the airplane and be send away at check-in for the airline.

BS

My question is, why would he need to travel with such a document? Why not travel on a real passport issued by his nation unless... he's....

A ) no longer welcome in Thailand or...

B ) on the run from his own nation and is unable to acquire a real passport.

By 1975, Garry Davis had already been imprisoned 20 times for his attempts to cross international borders with nothing but a World Passport.[31] Doug Casey, American investor; received his World Passport from Garry Davis in the 1970s, and claims to have used it to travel to Iceland, French Polynesia, Honduras, Costa Rica, and Peru[49]" -Wikipedia

I actually had this book this book way back in the 80's "The International Man". Author Doug Casey has probably made some some good dosh pedaling books and Internet seminars to all the simps over the years, going back to the 1970's. The same tired platform of tax shelters, offshore banking, precious metal hoarding, and getting dodgy second passports. Wonder if he actually has done anything real with his life?
