car baby seat rental?

We get some family with a baby over to Thailand soon.

Where can I rent a car baby seat (baby just over 1 year) for a short period? (Bangkok area)

Tried Hertz, but only together with car rental.

Any advice or idea?

Probably just as easy to buy one, especially as you're in Bkk.

Buying certainly easier but do you have any idea of the cost of a new one ? Between 17,000 & 36,000 baht. I think I'd rather hire for short time.

Boosters (toddler) seats are less than 1k. Bucket (baby) seats to EU standard are 3-5k.

A matching pair would be less than 17k in Harrods!

I'd like to know where. You have any idea where I can purchase in NE Isaan ? BRITAX, just as an example, start at 18,000 baht, up to 37,000 baht.

I think quality at 3,000 might be a bit suspect ??

You're quite right; Ours passed detailed parental scrutiny & had a second opinion from a fellow parent who's tech background inc ground crew for RAF fighter jets therefore we felt our children were safe:)

Re where to find them; Lazada, Ebay or the OP could ask the parents to bring theirs with them.
