Thaivisa News
Lamphun:- A 72-year-old partially paralyzed woman was stabbed to death right on her wheelchair at her house in Lamphun's Pasang district on Monday, police said. Pol Lt Witthaya Winyayong, an inspector of Pasang police station, said Srinual Sri-arporn was killed right before she entered her house. Channel 3 reported that the woman returned from buying meat at a nearby fresh market and she was carrying all her cash and gold valuable with her. Police found a waist-strapped bag on her with Bt50,000 in cash and a Bt20,000-worth gold necklace. The bag was still strapped to her waist. Channel 3 reported that the woman was partially paralyzed so she was very slow when she opened her bag to pay for the meat and the attempted robber might spot her money and might follow her to the house. Witthaya said Srinual was stabbed one time on the right side of her neck, another at her right shoulder and another on her head. Jai Dechawong, 65, a neighbor, called police to alert the police station of the murder. He told police that he was tending his orchard when he heard the woman crying for help. He rushed to scene to find her lying lifeless on the ground beside her wheelchair. Srinual's husband, Kriangsak Sri-arporn, 59, said his wife had been using for wheelchair for ten years after she became partially paralyzed. Kriangsak said he was working as a security officer at a company for the 5 am to 5 pm shift when his wife was killed.
Just1Voice
Only a sick, demented animal would do such a thing. I sincerely catch the piece of <deleted> who did this and put his ass away forever.
worgeordie
So it does not seem like robbery was the motive, unless the coward panicked before taking his loot.lets hope they catch him quickly and he is dealt with accordingly, unfortunately it would not be the penalty i would be hoping for. regards Worgeordie

How would it be better if someone kills a 20 year old strong healthy man? Sorry if i am interfering in some kind of personal feud between clairvoyants here; but how does the additional benefits of killing (or not killing) a 20 year old man (strong or not, previously healthy or not) relate to the post by just1Voice? Posting is his strong suite, not reading and definitely not comprehending. Someone could explain it to him but I am afraid he still wouldn't get it..... h90 death is death and that is not the question,,,,,, its a matter of quite a bit of difference if you kill someone who is practically defenseless vs someone who is able bodied and possibly able to defend themselves, even somewhat...... and if you do not grasp that concept...then the pity is surely on you. It goes right to the character of the person.
greenchair
Start with the heirs. I thought the same. Usually a spur of the moment robber is not so violent. To stab in the head seems he wanted to be sure of death. But most interesting he didn't take anything.

The sad fact is there are many sick and twisted people around the world The only way to deal with them is a very painful execution If for no other reason than to give the grieving family some sense of justice

It makes no difference if it was a 72 year old paralyzed woman, a 6 year old child, or a 24 year old athlete, stabbing ANYONE is a really sick, perverted act, and the perpetrator needs to be caught and severely dealt with! Bignose
Another sad and tragic example of humanity at it's worst, to take the life of another human being is reprehensible, disgusting and beyond all acceptable standards, IMHO even more so when it is the life of someone who cannot defend themselves. This is not a specifically Thai issue as it happens every day in every country, every day there are examples of how low man can get. Yes we all hope he he/she is caught with appropriate justice meted out soon, this old lady deserves no less. Commiserations and condolences to her family and friends... Absolutely correct, it would just be a reworded headline in the above examples for emotional manipulation. A fatal stabbing is a fatal stabbing regardless of how much could be speculated as to the victim defending themselves.
