The one time I had a bank letter for current day they had to put a hold on account until new day (that was a decade ago). Believe account balance is end of day figure so day must be over or no access allowed to account.

It has never been required from my immigration office either.

I guess some guys just picked the wrong place to live.

or need to show 800,000 in the bank

the ONLY way you would not need bank letter is if u show ur earning 65,000 baht/month via the embassy letter

When I last used CW I was asked to go to the lobby and draw out on my ATM card and they checked balance on slip. That was 2 years ago.
