Suggestions For The Immigration Authorities

To avoid throwing out the baby with the bathwater why not:

1) Make it easy for foreigners working over the internet with income deriving from abroad (regardless of age) to register as self-employed (and pay taxes) in Thailand. The number of people in this situation is set to rise dramatically and Thailand could benefit enormously from the disposable income they could bring into the country.

2) Make it easy for falang to set up legitimate businesses that don't take jobs away from Thais and/or create jobs for Thais.

3) Make it easy for qualified mother-tongue teachers (and other employees who aren't taking jobs away from Thais) to get visas.

What percentage of the thousands of visa runners would be able to stay if these changes were made?
