Went in for a Retirement Visa Extension on July 30th. Basically the same as last year, except for a couple of changes. One, used to submit map of residence, but haven't done for a couple of years. They expect it now.

Together with the letter from the bank, a statement of the bank account for three months. They require one copy of everything, but wouldn't hurt to have two copies of your passbook. It took one hour, the wonderful lady behind the desk has a lot more work to do than she did last year.

For 6 years not needed map of residence until last year and the signing of i believe something to do with knowing penalties for overstay etc,all in all though in out within 20 mins bc they had 4 staff doing retiree ext instead of the norm 2 at jomtien it can only get better now weeeeee.

The Chumphon [Town] Immigration office has moved now to where the Chumphon bus station is just outside the town, correct? It used to be near the overpass that goes to Ranong. Wanted to check from someone else who has gone recently.

Yes on the left side as you drive in. Turn off has the yellow sign just before the big furniture store on the left side driving north. South of the Chumphon exit.
