Can anyone explain why, on CTH, Fox Sports HD does not include an English commentary for the Wimbledon tennis. There is no problem on the other Fox Sports channels and the same thing happened on the French Tennis broadcasts. I have made dozens of complaints to CTH but these fall on deaf ears.

as with most sporting events the host broadcaster can sell the rights to everything on an individual basis e.g. commentary language, crowd noise, half-time analysis, screen graphics (scores, times etc), post match highlights so as always "you pays yer money and takes yer choice"

Just have to imagine you are on centre court live. You don't get a commentary but you do get strawberries and cream.

I think you have to pay extra for that as well.....smile.png

CTH is cheaper than TrueVisions, but I prefer the latter as they cater to English speakers much better.

The TrueVisions call centre is quite customer-orientated too.

CTH's target customers are Thais.

CTH doesn't understand the concept of customers.

I am not American - US sports programs have no interest to me.

As a result, watching TV in Thailand is not on my menu.

TrueVisions - No

CTH - No

Fair enough, but True does have Wimbledon and the other tennis grand slams, all the golf majors and the Ryder Cup, F1 and MotoGP, Spanish and Dutch football, 6 nations rugby and the rugby world cup. Just wish it also had the Ashes.
