Is there a decent public laundromat in Sukhumvit? I want to use coin operated dryer to shrink my two baggy jeans.

Or, is there a laundry service that will shrink the jeans as instructed?

Electric clothes dryers are extremely rare, if not unknown, amongst the public here. Some large hotels have them for their own use, by which I mean drying their own bed linen and towels.

Their used to be one on Soi 23 a couple shops down from Soi Cowboy. Not sure if they are still open but if you are in the area take a look.

Wow that's a surprise as my washing machine has a drying function which I use plenty.

Please don't confuse the issue with facts.

Rung Aroon Mansion, Sukuhumvit Soi 36. I've seen a coin operated dryer there. Catch the BTS to Thong Lor. Soi 36 is pretty much at the bottom of the BTS steps.

Turn down 36, then second Soi on the right. Rung Aroon Mansion is about 100 meters on the left.

The laundry machines are in the car park. Walk through the gate and forwards about 15 meters. The laundry machines are on the right hand side behind a wall. You can't see them from the road.

The security guard is nice but doesn't speak a word of English so just go in and use the machine. From memory there are a couple of chairs you can use if you want to wait.
