i have a marriage extension that I extended for 1 year and that is due to expire next month. Is it possible to extend this at the immigration one more time for like a month or so? Because I need to travel outside Thailand to get a new multiple visa (don't have the 400k in the bank this year) but I'd like to do it in September, not August. Is it possible to get one more extension for 1 month or somethig like that?

You can get 60 days.

From Police order 138/2557

2.24 In the case of visiting a spouse or children who are of Thai nationality:
Each permission shall be granted for no more than 60 days.

1. Application form.
2. Copy of applicant’s passport.
3. Copy of household registration certificate.
4. Copy of national ID card of the person having Thai nationality.
5. Copy of a marriage certificate or copy of a birth certificate.

You can apply for a 60 day extension to visit your wife. She will need to go with you when you apply. You will need your marriage certificate plus a copy, copies or your wife's house book registry and ID card.

That would be great! Even if I already stayed for 1 year I can get another 60 days without leaving and without showing money seasoned in the bank?

You can get the 60 day extension after the one year extension. No financials need. The only restriction would be if you have gotten a 60 day extension before on the same entry you have extended.

Hello guys. It's me again who asked this question 2 months ago. I ended up getting the 60 days extension but I need an additional week if possible due to a medical emergency in the family and I don't want to travel to Laos this coming week, otherwise it's going to be extremely stressful. Is there a way to get another extension on top of the 60 days extension I got? I think I read somewhere that I could get another 7 days extension (and that would be the last one). That would be enough.

You cannot get a second 60-day extension of stay but you can, of you meet the requirements, get a one-year extension.

You could get a 7 day extension if you need more time to go out for a new visa entry.

If that's possible then I'll get that done. Will be less hectic for me. Thank you!
