One way self drive options to CM from BKK

Featured Replies

Has anyone know of an economical option? Perhaps a return with a CM one way rental to BKK... any thoughts?

What exactly is it you are looking for? You want to truck up some goods? How many cubic meters or pallets?

A cubic metre or less....

Why not a shared load with Nim See Seng or one of those companies? We use Nim See Seng often. It could take 4-5 days depending on when they have a full truck ready to come up. The only thing is you will have to go to their depot in Faham to pick up your stuff. They won't bring it to your door unless you pay them a whole lot more.

They offer many different services. The one we use most often sometimes takes a week to get here from Bangkok as there are many stops along the way (those huge over-loaded trucks you see) and the drivers are not on a deadline to get to C.M. We use this service mostly for non-fragile stuff shipped in large rice bags. I think you can ship a few of them for around 250 Baht. For boxes they offer another service in a closed type of truck which is more, perhaps 600-800 Baht. Another type of truck with more fragile items maybe 1500-2000 with pallets. You need to speak with a rep and ask about what exactly you require.
