Chiangmai Promenada Immigration Address

Someone posted that for reporting by mail you still use the old Airport Road address as the Office still operate for some extension.

Maybe another Thai visa member can confirm this.

It would really help if Immigration put info on their website. But, in the absence of this, when I was at Promenada on Friday afternoon the senior Immigration official who handles tourist extensions told me they don't have their computers up and running yet at Promenada and they are still processing 90 day reports at the old office. I didn't ask the people processing the 90 day reports, because they didn't look familiar.

There were no signs of functioning computers or anyone handling mail at Promenada yet.

I would think most people who have been in Chiang Mai for a time would recognize the nice, friendly Immigration officer who gave me the news to still send your 90 days report to the old location. When you think about it, this really is the best location if in doubt.

I was at the OLD Office on Thursday and Friday of last week and staff were re-directing 90-Day Reporters to Promenada.

There were some very Unhappy people but there is a FREE Shuttle (Cattle Bus) running between the two locations, although this will only be for the first month.
