The jackal is a small carnivorous mammal

Jackals are opportunistic omnivores, predators of small- to medium-sized animals and proficient scavengers.

noun
1.
any of several nocturnal wild dogs of the genus Canis, especially C. aureus, of Asia and Africa, that scavenge or hunt in packs.
2.
a person who performs dishonest or base deeds as the follower or accomplice of another.
3.
a person who performs menial or degrading tasks for another.
Sounds like the perfect description for this despicable little man.

Things have gotten better over the past year without Mr Suthep to advise, and I think it should stay that way. I don't think the general will allow him much leeway or at least he should not.

Suthep did not do what he did for nothing. He is owed and everyone, including the General knows this.

He will get what he wants, or he will start speaking, unless someone takes the decision to shut him up, ala Sondhi.

There will be no reconciliation as long as the same divisive players keep coming back for more. You know considering the BKK elite are supposed to be the 'educated' ones they seem incapable of learning from their own mistakes.

Suthep was hated in his own party for his level of corruption. Thaksin may as well be sitting right next to him talking about 'reforms. It's a load of horse poo frankly.

Yes, those too make a good pair. Just wish Thailand could be rid of them, and others like them.

BB agree with you. Just that one seem easy to rid and the other seem to be teflon coated and immovable. Working for the establishments do have its benefits.

Yep, it stinks, if NCPO let this go then it as good as admitting they all part of one big setup.

I was not a fan of pheu thai but i'm not a fan of this old lying thieving scum bag either, he is exactly the type of cockroach thailands reform needs to eradicate ...

Get a blanket and cover them up they are in bed together.

Do you remember how the draft charter had been presented by Borwornsak Uwanno, chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee: a mechanisms to enable the people to have a greater voice and role in politics. ... summarised in "People to the people" slogan.

That's the "voice of the people" they were thinking of. The organisation that will express the voice of the people is already in place even before the charter is implemented.

Thailand should just copy Western democracy, all the rich just agree to a system where all parties support them regardless. They can then all rape the Treasury collectively.

That way it no longer matters who wins the elections, no more dramas & fighting amongst themselves. Better for the poor as well, they just stay poor instead of being used as cannon fodder.

How come he's allowed t hold a news conference but other politicians aren't?

Oh, I forgot, Suthep is a non-political politician. Made very believable by his posing as a monk for a while.

Reconciliation, Thai style?

Have you ever seen a large ferocious pit bull lunging at the end of a leash. Its kind of a focal point. Guess who is holding the leash?

I love the way they all have Thai flags on their shirts. They are claiming the flag as their own and basically saying "If you don't agree with us you are not a patriot". They did the same during the demonstrations in '14. Everyone wearing red, white and blue (instead of the usual yellow) as if to say that only they had a claim to be true patriots.

Fascist, the lot of them.

Look up the definition on most online dictionary's

I will give you a wee head start

[ter-er-ist]

noun

1.

a person, usually a member of a group, who uses or advocates terrorism.

2.

a person who terrorizes or frightens others.

[ter-uh-rahyz]

verb (used with object), terrorized, terrorizing.

1.

to fill or overcome with terror.

2.

to dominate or coerce by intimidation.

Pay close attention to number 2 on both parts, if the caps fits I guess Suthep falls into these categories.

You don't have to be armed with Semtex and an AK47 to be classed or labelled a terrorist ;-)

An evil and dangerous man, so much that he makes Thaksin look like Prince Charming, why has General P let this idiot back into the limelight........

Well we know the answer, but are not allowed to talk about it.

Same, same here Thailand heading back into the feudal system dark ages.....disgraceful and tragic.

And not only Suthep...

Most definitely, He's up there with the foaming at the mouth Reds, who act in the same manner. I just cannot understand the Farang's who have been here a long time that they fail to see that this great country will never go forwards with the likes of the Juttaporn's and Suthep's constantly being at the forefront all the time.

Suthep has already stated he wants reforms before elections, nothing more, nothing less, no compromise, Prayuth has already said reforms in earnest could take 10-15 years !! Sorry, but the country will never prosper under a Junta in that time, they're already losing touch with reality, and chopping and changing, they're all out of ideas, the fiasco of the Submarines, the laws about alcohol within 300M's, the Navy throwing teddies "We want Subs!!" The THAI aviation industry with what, about 30 days left or their last extension? The Fishing Industry registration process.. The Junta are wobbling, and Suthep's resurrection into politics has just undermined the past 15 months..

It's going to get messy, someone isn't going to get their way.!!
