1 year to 5 year driving licence

I got my first 1 year driving licence last year in about a month I must renew to 5 years will I need a international licence again also the costs and papers needed to renew. I got this while on a retirement visa but now I have a one year multiple o marriage visa which I got in Savannakhet so I have to do a border run every 3 months what I want to know is do I still qualify for the 5 year licence with this visa?

No need for IDP, and yes, you qualify for 5 year license.

Take certificate of residence of yellow housebook, copies of passport including visa pages, copies of old DL. I think for n1 to 5 you also need medical statement. Cost by heart is 595 + photo, or something in that range.

The cost for the medical statement varies by clinic. I got raped paying 400 baht. They just ask for your passport, fill out the form, take your money, and tell you to get out. 20 seconds total. They don't even put a mirror under your nose to see if you are breathing. I have talked to so many other people that paid just 100 baht, most around 200 baht. Good luck.

Address declaration at Australian embassy 500 baht

photo copies of passport. Visa, embassy cert etc.. 4 baht

handed in all the docs. did the colour blind test and the one you bring the two sticks together test.

waited about an hour in the que for photo and final payment 500ish baht (cant remember the figure)
