It's going to be a museum according to the signs outside the site.

I've heard some of these developments have incorporated into their designs the possible future use as a casinos.

Any particular type of museum, or just a "coming soon museum" sign? Public museum, or a for profit "museum" which is actually just a tourist trap to extort cash? I haven't been out that way in a few months, so I've no idea.

To the guys claiming it's going to be a museum according to signs: are you sure you are not just looking at the signs for the Thalang National Museum which is right behind this building site?

I don't believe it's going to be another museum. It's very big on a very expensive plot. It's 27 rais and was for sale for more than 400M THB.

ok if was gem store i read before this was the guy from Bangkok very wealthy who owners Royal Gems, he also owns 2 golf clubs in BKK,

Royal Sports and Royal Gems City... could be him but seems enormous to house gems....

anyway time will tell if for Gems manufacturing/retail or a new Museum...
