Featured Replies

Hey all,

In Bangkok, anyone know of a good BMW service place other than the dealerships? i have an older bimmer and all the posts I saw were a while back. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for all the great feedback!! ha ha...Well luckily I speak thai so I searched the internet in Thai....you would be amazed how many bmw service shops there are in bangkok. I found 4-5 that looked ok, I ended up going to two different shops.

1st service/repair shop (Ekkamai) it's called kwauto service (they have a website) just do a google search they are on ekkamai 21 between ekkamai and thonglo. They only work on BMW's pretty clean shop, nice people.. but boy do they lack communication skills...took them 4 days to change two radiator hoses and I had to call them and go by to bug them to get it done. Not on my return list.

2nd service/repair shop (Huai khwang) it's called BMW Service Center (no website) they are on Pracha Uthit Road 9) just do a google search in google maps. The work on BMW's and Benz, I gotta admit not the cleanest place but they are right on it, the owner went for a drive with me...had his son (mechanic) run the scanner on my bimmer, could not spot the exact problem right then....so NO charge........, he said bring it back anytime and they will get it fixed. If you need the phone number...just let me know. They get the thumbs up.
