I saw some hair serums for protecting against hair loss aka alopecia. I tried Bergamont from Thailand and kok liang shampoo but it does not seems to work well. I was introduced to a site called nakornluang-onestopservice.com. Several thais told me they used it and was good and said that Minoxidil or Finasteride does not work for all. This nakornluang-onestopservice I am also not sure if it will work at all. I have tried several on Amazon but they also do not work. Advise? Shipping from Bangkok is pricy... $56 for a 6 month supply incl some pills and the serum aka hair tonic. Suggestions on other alternatives. I know some others might work but they cost over $3000-7000. My problems are thinning issues.

If you are male:

There are genetic that is sensitive to male hormone (Testosterone). Other genetics is not (me for example, also not fun if the hair grows like crazy).

No easy way around it, be proud of your strong male hormones and shave it (like I do soon because it get white).

Minoxidil and Finasteride have been proven to work, though results vary by individual and it is a matter of degree not total resolution of baldness. Also in case of systemic finasteride there are side effects to consider.

None of the various herbal treatments/shampoos around have been shown to work. But there is a never ending supply of sham treatments out there ready to take your money.

I could sell you my pee, just 76 Baht per 0.65 Liter (sold at own costs as I have to refill the body with Carlsberg beer), excl. shipping.

Hair loss is really a sensitive issue and very common in men, you should not be worry about this. You will find many good pills online which help in hair loss like Avodart, quite safe and useful.

I think a shaved head is also OK.....Just maybe a problem with the strong sun in Thailand.

I would not transplant (or at least not speak about it) other body hair to the head.

Elton John transplanted some private hair and the Thais, after a brief shock can laugh for hours about it and repeating the jokes would cause Sheryl suspending me for at least 70 years.......

So it doesn't seem to be popular to wear your private hairs on your head.....gigglem.gif

In the states you can buy that dosage almost anywhere even whole foods and under 10 bucks . Here like so many supplements dosage low and expensive . I remember attempting to get D3 levels up and only found low dose at hospital . That's why it's worth it to deal with customs for small amounts of legal supplements ordered from US . If one gets good supplements sent here you can have blood tests done say every six months here at most hospitals cheap to monitor if levels and adjust dosages accordingly . Another important supplement I was challenged with here was finding iodine . When I was diagnosed with low thyroid I was put on thyroid meds now I got to the root of under active thyroid with diet and supplements . Much of medicine makes money of of disease management at times as there is not much moment to be made getting to the root of health issues with things like nutrition and exercise . Here in Thailand we are blessed to be able to kind of be our own contractor getting help from Dr's needed a la carte like the blood work or other things without the expense and drama like in the west .

What herbs seriously are best for reducing falling or thinning hairlines? I hear Amazon has them called Pimento seeds or something anyone ever tried that?

I've heard that Virgin Olive Oil and Coconut oil is good to massage your hair with.

Never tried it first hand, but would be a long time procedure.
