Buying cushions in Bangkok

Featured Replies

Where is the best place to buy relatively cheap but nice cushions in Bangkok? Outside of the department stores etc...

Thank you

IKEA, is definitely the option, pricey cab ride and back though. I do believe there is a shuttle bus from the BTS however.

Thanks :) I'll give it a try, I've always wanted to see the BKK Ikea so it's a good excuse for me to go ;)

Yes indeed. Shuttle bus every hour ( or every 1/2 hr?) from 7 am to 10 pm from/to BTS Udom Suk.

Related to this, does anyone know where one could get new covers made for sofa and chair cushions?

I know several but not downtown. I see them everywhere, just look for a pile of carseats or old sofa's in front of a shop and they are refurbishing them.

For people with back/spine problems go to Muji and buy nasa-foam high density pillows for 1100 baht, they are worth it! This foam you will slowly sink into.

In the MBK on the furniturefloor (4th or 5th floor) in the corner is a huge shop similar to IKEA, they also will have cushions i think.

For cheap ones go to Ikea.
