Scouting Pattaya for a Potential Long-Term Base – Welcome Any Leads
I've stayed a bit in Jomtiem in the last year or two and can recommend: Copacabana - nice gym, pools, quiet, good security and well looked after, nice outlook from rooms though big other condo block being built next door now. New Copacabana on second road being built now. Rooms nice but most a bit small so not so good for two full time. Seaview Beach Condos - basic - not fancy in any way - but some apartments have been combined to make big apartments - new block being built now on beach might be nice - good pool but terrible gyms. Cetus - quieter still and nice rooms - some bigger - and nice facilities Some View Talays renovated, big rooms, with big balconies If you want to swim the beach is no good though it looks nice. Pollution a worry from time to time so maybe not stay all the time. Phuket better in that regard. -
