It's likely this has been mentioned somewhere in the hundreds of recent comments on Immigration processing at Promenada, but I haven't seen it. A simple question:

At the airport office, there were four separate lines outside with type of visa or extension identified by signs. Is this continued at Promenada, or is there just "a queue"?

As far as I could tell, when I was there, there ARE some queue boards (4 or 5?) placed in front of the office (outside, that is). I guess that these boards are used for the early arrivals - i.e. BEFORE Immi opens. The boards are for the different services - so choose the one that's applicable for you.

The boards were in place all morning, though I never saw anybody actually form a queue behind one. Mind you, I arrived at 9:30am, so the office was already open and bustling.

Oh, and if you use the boards, then be sure you get the appropriate ticket from the outside desk. One confused guy had been given the wrong type of ticket - and when he finally noticed, there weren't any tickets left for the service he'd originally wanted. Nasty!

Good luck - and have patience, you'll need it!
