Hibiscus tea

Featured Replies

Where can I buy hibiscus tea in Chiang Mai? I have tried all the Rimpings, the Siam Celadon shop on Thapae Rd, the Royal Projects shop in Nong Hoi and the internet. It is supposed to be a useful aid in maintaining or lowering blood pressure and I am on a mission to find it.

All assistance and leads are greatly appreciated.

The best one I found was at Mackro ...it is the flowers inside of a big clear bag, about a 12 inches tall? And I think I found them where they sell spices in bulk.

You just boil the flowers, get the "tea" and sweeten. Sometimes I have found them in Rimping, in regular tea bags ...but they were really expensive and I think the flavor wasn't as strong as I like.

Good Luck! Oh, in case you don't know, it is usually called "Roselle" here.
