Panadda resigns as permanent secretary for PM's Office

BANGKOK: -- PM's Office Minister ML Panadda Diskul has submitted his resignation as the permanent secretary for PM's Office, he said Friday.

Panadda said the resignation would take effect on October 1. He resignation will prompt him to leave his government service a year before his mandatory retirement next year.

Panadda said submitted the resignation to Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha. The prime minister has ordered Cabinet members who are also permanent officials to leave government service by the end of this month.
