PHUKET: -- Leading security officials on the island have confirmed that the search for suspects wanted for their roles in the Erawan Shrine bombing in Bangkok, which killed 20 people and injured scores more, has reached Phuket.

Prayut sets up command center for solving aviation issues

BANGKOK — Junta chairman and Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha confirmed that the man suspected of directing last month’s bomb attack that killed 20 people in Bangkok is hiding in China.

Panadda resigns as permanent secretary for PM's Office

BANGKOK: -- PM's Office Minister ML Panadda Diskul has submitted his resignation as the permanent secretary for PM's Office, he said Friday.

Panadda said the resignation would take effect on October 1. He resignation will prompt him to leave his government service a year before his mandatory retirement next year.

Panadda said submitted the resignation to Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha. The prime minister has ordered Cabinet members who are also permanent officials to leave government service by the end of this month.
