re-entry permit at airport

I am planning on going to Myanmar in October and need a re-entry permit in my passport before departing for Myanmar. My understanding is that I can obtain a re-entry permit at the airport prior to my departure for Myanmar. Is this correct?

Yes you can, they open around 5-30 to 6am. Just go up the escalator and through security towards departure immigration. The desk is on the left hand side and clearly marked. As long as you have all the documents and photo ready it is a walk in the park, quick and easy. Don't shout it too loudly though because things that are easy with immigration seem to be getting more difficult so that the visa agents can be fed!

Don't forget you will need a boarding card to get through security.This facility is only available to people boarding international flights .
