Pattaya Beaches empty, following Jet Ski Crackdown

Featured Replies

Why dont they build an attractive little fence all along the seafront with gateways too narrow to get jetski's through.

Because the jet-skis arrive on the beach by the sea wink.png

They are put on water at the speed boat park, near the WaterFront famous building.

Beaches being empty has nothing to do with Jet ski's not being there. It is purely an indication of drop in tourist numbers

That cannot be correct as we are being told that tourist arrivals are increasing.

"BANGKOK, Thailand - A series of recent reports released this week point to Thailand exceeding all previous tourism arrival predictions despite the recent bomb in its capital city. The official target of 28.8 million inbound tourists this year is expected to exceed 30 million - a record."

Don't get too excited it will be business as usual in a very short time, everybody gets a slice of the action, no way are they giving this up.

news report: the jest ski scammers are back as usual on the beach today. no change.

I didn't see them , and I walk the beach daily.

the usual scammers where there yesterday and today, maybe some of the others are taking a holiday

Go Go girls dancing on the beach......that will bring the tourist back....lol
