webfact Posted September 15, 2015 Share Posted September 15, 2015 PM: New draft charter must be internationally acceptedBANGKOK, 15 September 2015 (NNT) – According to Justice Minister Gen Paiboon Khumchaya, the Prime Minister has emphasized that it is crucial for the new draft constitution to gain acceptance from the international community.Following the Cabinet meeting, Gen Paiboon said Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has instructed all concerned ministers to help ensure that all contents of the new draft charter comply with international standards and are deemed acceptable in the eyes of foreigners. The premier also insisted that any members of the new charter drafting team should have an understanding of the government’s intention to reform the country.As for the appointment of the new chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee, Gen Paiboon disclosed that Prime Minister Prayut will review the names of candidates and hold a meeting on the matter within the next 2-3 days. They have said that they would like to see the country normalized as soon as possible and restore civilian authority. How can other countries accept the draft charter if the general population was not allowed to participate in its drafting? Will He have those countries that do not accept the draft charter for AA? With that being said, a good an acceptable constitution should always start with these words: We the people of The Kingdom of Thailand, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the Kingdom of Thailand. When he's talking to Thais, he says foreigners don't own Thailand and have no say in what happens in Thailand so butt out. Thailand is no longera sovereign nation, no country is. Thailand depends upon people buying it's products and visiting their shores.
