You got that wrong. The VOA people choose not to participate in the poll obviously as only the legit visa gloaters do. I did not vote and I have been a VOA guy for 17 years and will continue to do so. I cannot imagine the border guys turning me away after 3 stamps after being loyal for 17 years. I'm going to be a guinea pig on this one as I plan to continue doing what I've been doing

VOA is a misnomer as most do not obtain a visa on arrival but enter without visa. And most of them probably do not read the forum or they would have a visa entry.

Roo: From latest reports immigration is allowing those on a retirement extension of stay to have there wife as a dependent visa entry/extension without a bank requirement. But if both want retirement extensions they will have to each meet the qualifications.
