Car pickup with comfortable seat at behind ?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm very disapointed with what i saw. I'm looking for a car pickup 4 doors with the seat at the back comfortable for my 2 children. Can you recommend a model to buy?

Thanks :)

Any 4 door pickup.

Thats why you buy a pickup, kids go in the back tray... They'll be safe, don't worry...

Some pickups have a little more rear seat space, or a little more comfort, or a little less upright back seat than others, but overall the differences are small and none of them are great.

Sounds like what you really want is an SUV...

Of course the SUV will be very comfortable for my children but i need a pickup too to carry some trees and products

The Ford Ranger has Isofix points for childseats if they're very young. It also has the most car-like ride if you buy the Wildtrak.

I've slept more than 200 nights on the back seat of my pickup (4 doors) and if the seats are too upright , use cushions.

Gee's, take your sprogs to a dealership and let them organise it for you! rolleyes.gif

Assuming your kids don't need to help you buy trees, perhaps a 500K base-spec single cab pickup for the heavy lifting (it has a bigger, more useful tray anyway), and another 500K on a B class sedan?

Some very unhelpful comments here. If you have nothing useful to add, then don't waste your effort typing.

As I understand it, what the OP is quite reasonably trying to ascertain, is does anybody know which of the extra cab pickups have the most comfortable occasional seating in the 2nd row?

An extra cab is not suitable for his needs as he requires load capacity.

Some people just like to have a bit of fun... Shame on them, right :)

Its a forum...

Extra cabs don't have seats do they, just a bench with no seat belts..?

Right, And not one of them even remotely comfortable.

Sold in Thailand ?

Haven't seen any, but here's an F250: http://showroom.one2car.com/carDetail.aspx?car_id=2416883 (in dire need of some brightwork and wheels)

That's called a fleet truck, usually sold to outfits that have fleets of them. That's like utility companies, contractors... They are sold for utility and not for looks but they are just as good as the fancy ones for durability.

That one lacks a back seat and a price...

Cheers.
