Bellacissa
"...and one of only two countries that generates more female visitors than males."Yes, well, there's a reason for that. Let's just say it involves more a little more action than leisurely walks on Pattaya Beach.
ajarnmarc
I just know, that I'm still enjoying the Russians decline in tourism within Thailand. And thankfully the oil & gas prices aren't only forecasted to go lower, not higher in the near future. So I hope to enjoy more peace within the boarders of Thailand for some time to come. Dealing with the Chinese tourism is enough for the moment, and certain to be the case for the foreseeable future. Does Thailand really need the Russians? TAT has been forecasting higher tourism figures for the year, and into '16, though how true is it? Nonetheless, they seem pleased with themselves, and the job they're doing, so it would be great if they focused on handling those figures, rather than dreaming about the Russians are coming... NongKhaiKid
TAT, like so many govt departments, organisations etc simply cannot stop talking but they haven't worked out or are oblivious to the fact that as soon as they open their mouths they are totally discredited.
