Will I Be Able To Stay In Thailand For My Visit?

Featured Replies

I am going to Thailand on 22Nov06 and wish to stay until 15 march07.

I have all ready got my plane Ticket which I booked last early Month.

I am getting married with my Thai fiancee in Dec06 :D and also training muay thai and hope to fight which I have done for the last 3years.

I normaly get a tourist visa for 60 days (Issued in the U.K) and before my visa has expired leave the kingdom and come back after a few days in Laos or Cambodia with a new visa.

Will I still be able to this??? :o

:D I a unsure with this new rule?????

What is best for me.

Thanks wayne.

Get your normal visa which can last you up to 3 months. One border run for a 30 day stay should be enough and should not be a problem unless rule interpretations change. At this point visa entry does not count toward the 90 day total stay allowed for visa free entry. If you do not want to pay for the 30 day extension you should be able to either obtain a new visa as before or make two border runs for non visa entry. But we do not know the full effect of the new rules yet so you may want to check again in a month or two.

Also after marriage you qualify for non immigrant O visa which allows 90 day stays.
