Woman threatens to jump from Overpass leading to Pattaya Port

PATTAYA: -- On Tuesday afternoon Pattaya Rescue workers were called to the overpass leading to the Bali Hai Port in South Pattaya following reports of a woman who was threatening to jump down 10 meters to the road below.

Khun Nampung aged 24 was sitting precariously on the overpass ledge and after 10 minutes of dialogue with the woman, rescue workers appeared not to be making any progress.

She then bizarrely asked for some cotton buds so she could clean her ears. The buds were given to her and she began to clean her ears but seemed unsteady on the ledge. However, the buds distracted her from people around her who were able to rush her and take her away from the edge and to safety.

Why do they feel the need to further humiliate her by broadcasting her picture?

So it detracts from their lack of common sense and manners
