Internet dialup-connections?

Featured Replies

Hi there,

a short question!

I'm looking for an InternetServiceProvider. I want to connect to the internet using a dialup per modem or better ISDN. Is ISDN available in northeastern-thailand?

What does a dialup-connection costs per minute. Are flatrates available?

Thank you very much!

Check out www.loxinfo.co.th for the required information. I think loxinfo must be the largest ISP in Thailand now as they have just merged with CS Internet.

I am not sure what the cost is in Northeast Thailand and I think their may be prblems with highspeed connections. In BKK call costs (local) are 3 Baht flat rate the only problem is you may get disconnected a few times due to poor line quality with loxinfo you can tailor the package to suit your internet useage the more you use it the cheaper the hourly connection rate.

Hope this is of some assistance

cheers

Loxinfo and CS are the best service.

However if speed is not too important then you can use TOT for free.  Well almost free.

The phone call costs 3baht and you get connected for two hours.

I have "adjusted" my browser so that all the adverts are not displayed and I get a full screen display.

The TOT will give you the software for it free you just have to ask for it. It uses the 1222 dial up so can be used anywhere in Thailand
