Next economic development plan to include reform points

BANGKOK, 26 September 2015 (NNT) – The new economic and social development plan will incorporate reform suggestions from the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) and the National Reform Council (NRC), implementing aspects of the sufficiency economy philosophy, the PM says.

The Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has said in a nationally televised broadcast that the government has agreed to include reform points proposed by the NCPO, the NRC, along with the development points in the 12th national economic and social development plan during 2017-2021, and the 20-year strategy.

He said that the new development plan will place the public as the central driving factor of development, participating in supporting development and reformation. Aspects of the sufficiency economic philosophy will also be implemented for stability, prosperity, and sustainability.

The PM added that the evaluation of the existing national economic and social development plan, as well as the suggestions from the national economic and social development board will be considered as the foundations for the draft of the 12th national economic and social development plan, which will be officially imposed from October 2016 onwards.

"...the government has agreed to include reform points proposed by the NCPO, the NRC, along with the development points in the 12th national economic and social development plan during 2017-2021, and the 20-year strategy."

Does anyone have any idea what this means? I assume it will mean more government interference and bureaucracy in the economy, but does anyone have anything more specific?

I didn't really understand anything of that Press Release.

I think it was just a random word generator that spat it out.

Nonsense.
