Was passing by there today and noticed a sign saying the Tops Market in the basement of the Robinson's shopping center there is now open 24 hours.

Checked inside with the Tops store staff, and they confirmed it, saying they made the change to 24 hours about 2 months ago. Unfortunately, they also said the pretty decent food court that adjoins the market in the basement is NOT going 24 hours, and is still closing by 10 pm.

So, the Tops there, right next to the Westin Grande Sukhumvit Bangkok Hotel and not far from Soi Cowboy, now joins the Foodlands nearby on Suk Soi 5 and Suk Soi 16 as being 24 hour market operations. But the other local market in the middle, the Villa Market on Suk Soi 11, still closes for the night, around midnight, I believe.

I should add, the Tops at Suk Soi 17 also has recently remodeled a lot of previously mostly wasted space at the entrance of the market, and now has a pretty large fresh prepared, ready to eat refrigerated foods section there, which is a nice resource for grabbing something to eat on the go or to take home.

Before, the market left a lot of their prepared foods -- including meats such as roasted chickens, curries, etc etc. -- simply sitting out in packages on regular shelves and counters during the day, not refrigerated or kept hot, which always made me a bit apprehensive to buy there. But now, a lot of those things are packaged and instead kept refrigerated in the new section, which I'm sure is better for the safety of the prepared foods there.
