Spreaders of Conspiracy Theories: Unmasking the Motivations Behind the Lies
I think there's some truth in that. But there was no knowing what sort of treatment he would have received had he handed himself in to "take the rap". He could have been a free man some years ago if he got only a few years. But if he'd got 20 years? That may be what was uppermost in his mind. Also, what would you irvi have done in that situation? And for a lot of the time he had a couple of rape allegations in Sweden pending. Anyway, he's done his time I guess, one way or another, so good luck to him now he's out and about. -

Is Thailand Value for money
You didn't mention any of that regime to @thaibeachlovers It was just a straight claim that the foods were healthy. 😊 So now, they are so 'healthy' that you shouldn't eat them regularly 😊 I don't even think my girlfriend tries to move the goalposts as much as you do 😊 -

Thailand's Cashless Leap: Ahead of the Asean Pack by 2028
You really do need to listen to other people’s opinions instead of using verbal abuse to put your point forward. So calm down and join the debate in a respectful way. digital payments IMO will become the future of contactless payments. One can always have cash in their pocket but will eventually see the sense of progress even if you like it or not. -

No, they are not. Obviously. Though I always did wonder why burgers are considered unhealthy, since they contained minced meat, tomato, onion and did not seem terribly unhealthy. -

Horrific Bus Fire in Thailand Sparks National Debate on Safety
What is the saying " The past will be indicative of the future " the outcome will be the same in all due respect and Ive voice this for many years. These group mean will but they all come from the same school of though cant teach what teachers they themselves never learned. Changes will never come fast enough until they put a outside person or group in charge full power to control, remove anyone who tries or stands in it's way only one person can direct that power! They wiil take full control of DLT, RTP it has to be s dictatorship anyone who doesnt follow or tries to use their influence is simply removed end of story! Until that happens it continues to be noise. -

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
I agree. But I will make sure that I have some documentation, if asked. What documentation TRD actually wants and accepts, is anyone's guess. If it's a tax certificate translated, certified, and legalised by various embassies and MFA, "signed by 2 directors", my solution is probably leaving Thailand. The Siam legal guy said "you will get a tax certificate" in your home-country - 555. Pensioners here have for decades unsuccessfully tried to get a Thai tax certificate - it won't be easier in my country. What I found disturbing is that TRD has thought about credit cards at all. I find it rather imaginable. My tax adviser in my home country even told me, they would probably introduce a WHT on remittances. I don't believe this, but I mention it to show how tax people "think". Agreed. BTW the Siam Legal guy also explained, that the new rules are not law. The law is ambiguous (this has been discussed on AN at the very beginning of all this). He said, if the law is ambiguous it should be interpreted in the way most favorable to the tax payer. He thinks, if the new rules are challenged in court, the tax payer would win. -

I , along with millions of others, made Texas BBQ at home, along with Shrimp Scampi. Both healthy but somewhet high in calories, so you limit them. -

One second, you said 20% grams of fat in "cheeseburger meat". In hamburger meat there is 14% of fat. An average slice of cheese, yes, has 9 g of fat. So that would take you to 20% fat in a cheesburger. But since the reccomnded fat intake is 48 to 78 g of fat for a healthy diet this is not a problem. Your body needs fat. You could eat a cheeseburger and more fatty items and still be in the daily recommended amount of fat intake.
