it is a SIN , thats what Samarn Futrakul, head of the Alcohol Control Board and the chief author of the act says, .........

......Samarn is a deeply conservative Buddhist and high-profile prohibitionist. He has helped write drafts of a number of laws and regulations aimed to restrict the availability of alcoholic beverage, including the 2008 Alcohol Control Act........

Find it quite amusing that a person gets prosecuted for putting a pic of a bottle of beer on their Facebook page but if that same person was to ride a motorbike on busy pavement nothing would happen to them.

Busy pavement? Heck, wrong way in traffic or amongst food stalls on a sidewalk.

Chang ought to deliver a dozen cases of their beer to Samarn as a gift and tip the international press to cover it.

I was thinking of another brand that refreshes parts other beers do not reach, I.E. above the neck...gigglem.gif

This will never happen , just another silly proposal by an official who wants to move up the ranks.

Just like prostitution is illegal , but everyone knows about it . Drugs are illegal , but people get high every day. etc etc

I'll bet you didn't know that text in the same law diverts alcohol tax money to anti-alcohol groups.

Sounds like the advertising campaign for Chang Classic is working well - it has been carefully promoted by the BIB and the alcohol control board everyday for a week or more - in everyone's face - well done, without it most people wouldn't even have noticed the rebranding campaign.

yes and Chang has recently recruited a new marketing firm......Thailand police 5555
